About Willow Brook Farms

Willow Brook Farms is a proudly Métis-owned and operated company, rooted in the heart of Sturgeon County, Alberta. For over 40 years, our family has lived and worked along the scenic river banks of sturgeon river Traditionally a family-run thoroughbred and chuck wagon farm, Willow Brook has evolved into a mission-driven agricultural company dedicated to empowering communities—particularly Indigenous and Métis peoples—through food sovereignty, food security, and sustainable innovation. For the past three years, we’ve committed ourselves to developing high-yield, year-round growing systems using cutting-edge aeroponic technology, helping communities take control of their food supply, their health, and their future.

At Willow Brook Farms, we believe that everyone deserves access to clean, nutrient-rich food, no matter where they live. Our custom-built Vertical Garden Towers, greenhouse systems, and turnkey facilities are designed to operate in even the most remote and challenging climates. From growing fresh produce to processing ethically raised meat, everything we do is guided by our core values: community, sustainability, education, and empowerment.

As a Métis-led company, we are deeply committed to reconciliation through action. That means partnering with Indigenous communities, listening to their needs, and building long-term solutions that honour both traditional knowledge and modern innovation.

Whether you’re a school, a Nation, a health organization, or a family looking to grow your own food, Willow Brook Farms is here to support you on your journey to self-reliance, food security, and vibrant community health.

Together, we’re not just growing food—we’re growing a movement.
